Extremely quiet and private backyard. Very clean, tastefully decorated and within walking distance to beaches, shops, bars, restaurants, museums, and art galleries. I highly recommend this property.

This was our third stay at the cottage. We appreciate the quiet location, the artistic feel of the decor, and the generous inventory of supplies. It’s a gem.

We have stayed at the cottage twice and have just reserved it for a third visit. Aside from the numerous supplies and comforts, the cottage is art-filled and charming. We couldn’t get enough of the backyard deck and will dream of it until we return.

This was our second January stay. It was nice to return to a comfortable place. The house has everything you need, and then some. The location is perfect —near the buzz of Duval Street, yet apart, and a turn in the other direction has you at the gulf waters for scenic running or walking. The house has a comfortable seating area for reading or watching tv; outside is a private deck with green space. The kitchen had all we needed.

Lovely conch cottage filled with local art and situated in a private tropical garden. We immediately reserved the cottage for next year!

Gumbo Limbo exceeded expectations! The layout worked perfectly for my parents and I during our month long stay, and the front room was perfect for remote work. The house felt clean and well maintained, and all of the bed linens and towels were fresh/new (it’s the small things!). My only recommendation would be one or two more comfortable chairs for the deck, to be able to take more full advantage of the gorgeous backyard.

Property managers are responsive and helpful. Owners have paid attention to detail and it is well-equipped. It is nicely-decorated, just a comfortable place to be. The green space and deck are attractive and useful.

We chose to stay for the month of November and found Ashe Street Serenade to be available. We’re so glad that it was! The house was wonderful in so many ways: 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom plus an additional powder room on the first floor, which made things even more convenient. The living room/dining room and kitchen were perfect for entertaining, open and comfortable. The back deck is a bit crowded because of all of the furniture but it was sufficient and very nice. The pool is perfect for cooling off after a nice, long walk. The location was great for us, just under a mile from Duval. We like to patronize mostly places off Duval so the location worked out wonderfully! Don’t hesitate to rent here, you’ll love it! We only needed the management team once and they responded quickly! It was just a reset button on the water heater that needed to be hit!

This is a very special house on a very special street. Spacious & extremely well-appointed it was the perfect property for us for a three-month stay. We are returning again next year. Having lived in Key West for 24+ years, this was our first time renting and it lived up to our expectations.

The rental was clean & efficient. Do not over-pack since there is not ample space (but the in condo washer & dryer were great). The 80 degree temp community pool was too notch!! Love it & will benack

The perfect quaint cottage for our 25th wedding anniversary was exactly what we needed. Super cute & very romantic. Walking distance from everything. Property manager super helpful very communicative. Strongly encourage you to do research on parking. Just because you rent the house doesn’t mean it comes with parking. Can’t wait to come back.

Very clean and comfortable. Private deck in back and porch in front to sit. Excellent location - close to Duval St but far enough away to be quiet. Can bike and walk just about everywhere. Fort Zachary Taylor park has nice beach. Customer service is excellent.

This is our 2nd stay in the Conch Cottage, and we hope to have several more. Has everything we need, cozy, relaxing, convenient location, charming decor, comfy bed, shady garden (a big plus for us!) and, a hot tub!

Conch Cottage is a quaint centrally located rental location - you can easily get just about anywhere by bicycle. Preferred Properties made our visit seamless offering suggestions for meals, entertainment, bike rentals,etc.

We celebrated our 15 year anniversary here! We loved the cottage. The back patio was my favorite. Very private with hot tub and outdoor shower.
This will be our place to stay for every Key West vacation!

We stayed at the Conch Cabin for a second time. We stayed two years ago and fell in love and booked it again two years later for an anniversary trip. It is perfect for a couple looking for privacy, yet in walking distance of literally everything. Perfect is the only way to describe it! We will be back again!

Without her help my trip would have been a total loss. I cannot rate the property itself as we didn't actually stay there. The place was really nice. Clean, had everything you needed and well decorated for Key West. Perfect for 2 people. The back deck was an awesome. Had a very clean HotTub that we enjoyed every night. Everything In old town is built on top of each other. But with the tall privacy fence and the foliage of the trees, it was pretty secluded. I used the private shower outside everyday. Loved it! Best part is it’s 1 block from Duvall St. and in the middle of the Old Town. The management awesome because after we checked in they were there if we needed them but we were happy and had not one problem.

The Conch Cottage was not only adorable but very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect. We were within walking distance to most restaurants/bars, drug store, grocery store, and even Simonton Street beach, which we walked to daily. The management company was a pleasure to deal with and very quick to respond to any questions we had. Would love to stay here in the future and would definitely recommend Conch Cottage.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The location was great, but we were not prepared about the parking situation. It was clean and the outside patio was a delight. We really enjoyed using the Jacuzzi after a long walks during the day.

A few things I would recommend to improve would be, the kitchen was dark so if you could put more wattage in the lightbulbs in the ceiling, that would be great. Also, the fan nor the light over the stove was working so that needs fixed.
You could use some stem wine glasses. The ones you have now are big for a woman to use. You could also use three different sizes of mixing bowls. You have one great big huge glass bowl that takes up a lot of space.
A nice extra blanket would help. My husband and I were both sick and could not be in the bedroom at the same time for a couple of days, So a nice blanket would’ve been a great asset.

Took my wife to Key West for her 60th birthday. She fell in love with Key West. This was anawesome place to stay. Within walking distance of almost everything. Secluded back patio. The only improvement I would suggest is to get permit parking in front of the house. We were able to (without trouble) park a block or two away for an easy walk to the house. Great place. We'd definitely recommend it!

I couldn't ask for better communication, location, interaction, price point, and overall satisfaction. They provided a perfect experience through their rental property.

House is perfect for a couple close to everything! Jacuzzi is nice after a long day of walking to just relax in the privacy of your own backyard. Bed was comfy. Only downfall is the parking if you have a car, however we were able to park for free on the street within a few blocks of the house so not a big deal for us. Management was great they checked in on us day of arrival and were quick to answer any questions!

Everything about the property was great. From inside to out anyone can tell this property is very well maintained. Just find a paid lot to park your car and take in key West. Close walk to everything but far enough away to feel in your own scene. Would definitely stay again.

This was a clean well appointed house. The private patio, hot tub and outdoor (indoor also) shower was great. You do not need a car if you planning on seeing the sites downtown. It was only a $20 Uber fee to get to the marinas for fishing trips. I would highly recommend it. The folks at Preferred Properties we excellent.

So perfect! Just as described and very clean. The location is super convenient. The private backyard is beautiful and well landscaped. Our favorite part was the hot tub and outdoor shower. Really felt like paradise!

Great little space in the middle of Key West! Well appointed kitchen and the backyard was a tropical get-a-way each day to recover from the beach. This property made our first visit to Key West a success and we will definitely be back.

I really can’t say enough about how fantastic she was! Outside of that, the home had absolutely everything we needed and was in the perfect location to walk to everything. It has an amazing intimate fenced in back yard with a great jacuzzi. If you are thinking of booking, think no more, BOOK IT!
