Thirsty Mermaid

My husband and i rented this home for a month. We were not familiar with Key West, so we had to rely on the listing information. We did look at the google street view which unfortunately outdated. The house was fine. the street was very busy. The house next door looked like a slum, there were holes in the walls, trash strewn all over the backyard, doors washing machines varied trash. The front of their house had dirty carpets which they parked on, basically on which should have been a lawn. there were people in and out all days as the front door was never closed. They often blocked both the sidewalk and our driveway. They threw 2 mattress and assorted trash on the didewalk in front of the house. it was such an eyesore that I could not invite a client of mine over because of this mess. Across the street was an abandoned property. The surrounding street was fine. If you stayed inside and did not look out of the kitchen window or from the top deck it was ok

This is a great house in a good location. Walking distance to Higgs Beach. The pool was perfect and private. The house was a great size. There were a few quirks with the house. Some chairs were coming apart and the floor in the main living area/kitchen was severely buckled. Also the smoke alarm was going off one night all night, which should not happen if the batteries are routinely changed. The biggest issue for me was the code to enter was not correct. After driving for a day and arriving at 1pm, I could not get into the unit. It took about an hour to get the correct code.

Loved the space of the property, and the layout of the house. GREAT for big family or multiple guests! Generally, the property was in good shape and well maintained. The pool was great and very private, which we really enjoyed. On a fairly busy street which was in our mind really the only negative. Good overall location on the island if you want to be close to beaches, dog park and casa marina area. Had wonderful stay. Management company(Preferred Properties) was AWESOME, extremely responsive to any issues that arose incur month there and really easy to work with!

We stayed January 2022. The place was clean and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay. There were plenty of places to walk to and 5 bikes were there to be used. The pool was heated and wonderful.

Perfect home for our family vacation. Good location. Comfortable home. Would recommend to a friend or family member.

Our family of six had a nice vacation at this Key West home. The property was nice and clean and the pool was great fun for the kids. The downstairs area was perfect for remote working and was separate from the upstairs living space which allowed my husband to work in peace. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, the bathrooms are nicely updated and the beds were very comfortable though on the firmer side. The location is convenient to walking to the pier or for grabbing breakfast on foot. There was ample space in the driveways for our two large SUVs and everything is a short drive or bike ride.

The property management is outstanding. Anytime we called or texted they provided immediate assistance whether it was something to be fixed, dropping off a package we had shipped to them, glass bottom boat or even hair stylist recommendation. They were super friendly and helpful. They even returned an Amazon package for me that arrived after we left. The best!!

The best place ever. Everything that you need. The house is so well equipped, very spacious, clean and all amenities.
