Modified Cancellation policy

We have temporarily modified our cancellation policy for our 2020 Summer guests.

To our 2020 Summertime guests: 

First, we hope that you and the people you love are all safe and healthy. 
This is an unprecedented scenario and we are sure that you have a lot on your mind.
You may be wondering about the ability to visit Key West for your reservation.

To help make things a bit easier for you, we are temporarily modifying our cancellation policy during these difficult times.  Please see the details below and let us know how we can help.

FLEX PLAN

 

15 Days' Notice: 

Instead of requiring cancellations to have 60 days' notice, we are allowing you to decide up to 15 days in advance to give you an opportunity to monitor any travel restrictions and have additional flexibility with your travel plans.  If you decided to cancel outside of 15 days, you will receive a refund less a $200 cancellation fee.  If you decide to cancel within 15 days, you will forfeit your entire rental payment.

 

Another option:

For all reservations with an arrival from June 1st until August 31st, we are allowing our guests the opportunity to move their reservation, for no charge, to another date within one calendar year of your original arrival.  While there is no charge for moving the reservation, you will still need to pay any additional rental amounts if the new date is in a busier and/or more expensive season.  The amount you have spent on your existing reservation will be used as a credit for your new reservation. This amount includes housekeeping and other fees assuming you have made all your required payments.

It is not necessary to pick the date today, but your new reservation dates will be based on availability.  We are not reserving any dates for you, so please let us know as soon as you have determined an appropriate time.

Our housekeeping crew is aware of the need for extra scrutiny when it comes to providing our guests with a clean home.  While we have always ensured a clean home, we are adding some enhanced protocols to our housekeeping staff duties to further improve the cleanliness of the home. 

 

This includes a focus on wiping down high touch surfaces such as countertops, remote controls, light switches, handles, alarm clocks, and other items with a cleaning agent capable of strongly reducing any virus or bacteria.

 

The hottest temperature setting for both the wash cycle and the dry cycle is used to clean the towels and linens in each property.  The housekeeping staff uses the machines available at the home and do not bring these items to a common/shared laundry facility.

A Temporary change in the Cancellation Policy due to Covid-19


Key West is a wonderful and enjoyable destination that is visited by people from around the world and while the immediate risk to visitors and residents of Monroe County appears fairly low, we cannot guarantee that our guests will be free and clear from the Coronavirus. 

 

However, with the proper preparation, we can all keep that risk low while enjoying the island life.
