Laurie grew up in the San Francisco bay area and the Chicago suburbs. After graduating from Hillsdale College, her career began in sales and marketing with an international building products company. She was then hired to be a Special Projects Coordinator in charge of demographic and psychographic studies for a large national company. The positions required constant travel and transfers to Ohio, Charleston, S.C. and Denver. That was a great learning experience but she was ecstatic to settle in Key West!

Living in Key West meant leaving the corporate world behind and in 1986 Laurie became a Realtor. It was a perfect fit! Within a short time Laurie became a top producing sales agent.

Laurie has always used her extensive experience and skill to do the best job for her clients. Laurie believes that success comes from a commitment to doing what’s best for the client. She treats her clients as treasured friends and does the best for them!

Laurie has been a very active member of the community! Her activities include:

• Member of the Key West & Lower Keys Chambers of Commerce

• Member of the Booster Clubs for the KWHS Boys Soccer team and the Chorus

• Volunteer and supporter of numerous community organizations

Laurie is married to Kevin McChesney and is the proud mother of two sons, Richard, a college student and Sean, a high school student.
